  1. Beautiful! I love the light and shade. And I love the beam of light in 11 — I had to stop to look for a while…even though I’m at work and my boss just walked by O:-)

  3. Wonderful Photos. I love the color saturation you chose to use for this series. The black and white really bring out the carvings on the stone.

    • Thank you Elizabeth, yes I was not sure how to show them and thought just normal color was not doing them justice and showing all the detail so played around and found this and loved it.

  4. Oh wow the light and the history!!!!!!!!! Can’t believe you had the place to yourself.

    • Sam it really is just amazing. These temples are just HUGE… I mean so damn huge and you are just left like wow. Glad you like the effect I used to show case these images.

  6. Thanks for sharing these amazing pictures. I can only imagine how majestic these beauties are when you are there, which I hope to be someday!

Wow thanks Ellen so much. I hope so… I know when I get back I want to take a photography class and even buy a better camera!

  8. I will add accolades on your photography. The nearly black and white does make it very pretty. I have seen bits in the movies of Abu Simbel I think and it is so neat to think about it actually existing. So happy to see your photos.

Thanks Andrew, I really thought black and white like this was the best way to show all the detail. I had never heard of that movie… I will have to check it out.
