Teapots of Morocco in photos.

I never in my life thought I would ever do a post on TEAPOTS however it all changed after my visit to Morocco. I have had this post in my drafts for about 2 years now and thought I should finally publish it.

Tea is a integral part of Moroccan culture and sometimes even considered an art. Tea is traditionally a man’s affair: prepared by the head of the family. It is served to guests, and it is impolite to refuse it and because of that Moroccans love their TEAPOTS. Okay well I lie they love their MINT TEA and well it is served in TEAPOTS (brilliant I know). As I traveled through Morocco one of the things I couldn’t avoid were TEAPOTS… they are literally everywhere you turn. They are being sold or being used or just sitting there on the street outside of a door. Taking pictures of them became a little obsession of mine while I was there and am now sharing that obsession with you.

Have you been to Morocco?

Did you notice their love with tea?

Did you get Tea-d out after a few weeks there?

  1. I was just going to write, “what do a teapot and Jaime have in common? They’re both short and stout,” but decided not to because it would be mean and only partially true.

    Wait.

    Oops.

Anyway, congratulations on the first blog post I’ve ever seen that’s solely dedicated to teapots. Although I’m pretty sure I’ll see the bird ones in my nightmares tonight…
