Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – You know how sometimes you can hear a song so many times, but never really hear it? Like you will hear it, but never pay attention to the lyrics? When you do finally listen to the lyrics and you find out that you can relate to it it’s like an awaking in your heart of “oh wow I’m not alone”. Well that’s what happened with this song, I had heard it so many times and just recently listed to the lyrics and I got tears, because I never thought I would find a song to explain how I felt the night before I left him & Cairo. Well this song says it all & I love & hate it all at the same damn time. Being home has been tough and I know I mentioned I wouldn’t write about him anymore and well I haven’t. I never said I would stop putting songs that explain how I feel so yeah I’m posting this. I apologize for not posting anything the lat 2 weeks… I have just been in a personal funk here at home and took it out on my blog, but I’m back again. Anyway hope you read they lyrics and enjoy the song. The video is almost 10 minutes long because they turned into a beautiful positive message for the world. Check it out it’s really beautiful & for as how I feel… this is how I felt the night before I left him & Cairo. I remember not wanting to go to sleep because it meant not spending time with him and that when I opened my eyes I would have to leave. I still miss him everyday and more than you can imagine!
