Sambhali-Trust & its students in photos!!!

“IN PHOTOS” is a series I will use to share many of the hundreds of photos I have taken during my travels. It is a series I have thought about for a while now, but did not want to start until I got back home from my trip. However after spending a week in Chefchaouen, Morocco I couldn’t wait any longer. “IN PHOTOS” will not have a set schedule like my “MUSIC MONDAY” or “PHOTO ROUND UP” series. “IN PHOTOS” will be a post with several photos with no limit. The only restriction this series will have is that it must be about a certain subject or theme. I will write a brief paragraph or sentence describing the subject or theme of the photos and then post the photos. I will not caption the photos like I do on my “PHOTO ROUND UP” with my thoughts. I want to use “IN PHOTOS” to share my photos and let you come up with your own thoughts about the images and hope you share them with me.

Before I tell you all about my experience volunteering at Sambhali-Trust for two weeks I’d like to share some photos. During my 2 weeks volunteering at Sambhali-Trust I managed to take over 700 photos. YES OVER 700 PHOTOS!!! Going through them all and picking just a few was very difficult. I managed though to bring it down to just 59 photos. These 59 photos will do a better job at showing you just how colorful the center is and how beautiful the students of Sambhali-Trust really are. These images are priceless to me. Just looking at these images bring tears to my eyes… I miss the students more than anything else. I am so happy I was able to meet some of the most adorable students in the world & now want you to meet them too.

  10. Hi your photos are beautiful. I was just wondering where or with what organization did you volunteer with? I am thinking of doing the same, but there are so many volunteer programs out there and not sure which ones are legit. Any information would be a great help. Thanks!

    • Jaime Davila says:

Hi Rachel, I included the link at the start of the post. I went directly through them, by emailing them and so on. I know what you mean… I hadn’t volunteered until now because I couldn’t find an organization that seemed legit and also didn’t cost to much. I wish I had more information, but I don’t. The best thing is to ask around your friends or contacts online like twitter and see what you find as a personal referral. I am happy you enjoyed the photos. If you need anything shoot me an email via the contact form.
