Photo Round Up – Week 48

5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

Hope you all enjoy them.

The Great Pyramids of Giza!

Even though I hate I didn't get all the legs of the Camel... this is still one of my favorite photos from my visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza. I won't say much else because my post on Tuesday is all about this.

Sunset at the Great Pyramids of Giza!

Y'all know I love SUNSETS... and this was one of the most amazing SUNSETS I have seen to date... I mean come on. The sun setting over the PYRAMIDS = BREATHTAKING. I wish I could have captured all 3 of them, but my lil point & shoot isn't wide enough.

Sand boarding in the Sahara Desert of Egypt!

I made my way to SIWA OASIS too visit the SAHARA DESERT for a 2nd time. This time I went 4x4 & sand boarding all over the huge sand dunes. This is one my fav photos cus it shows the fear/excitement in my face. I was so scared... but after a few times got it down and had a blast!

Sand dunes of the Sahara Desert of Egypt!

THIS IS WHY I LOVE DESERTS. This is just amazing... I love it!!! Sand for miles & miles... no words can describe this so I won't even try.

A great way to end my week... SUNSET in the SAHARA DESERT!!! Just beautiful...

  1. Use your panoramic features more and you can capture more of the horizon that won’t fit in your lens 😛 (or, just take a GIANT step back for mankind!). We both have Sony cameras, I almost bought the better version of yours but instead got a super zoom which has some of your features… you can always look to me for features you don’t use :P.

    • Thanks Shannon… yeah I use that feature often just don’t post them. I will in the future though. Yeah I wanted to take a step back but then I would get billboards… it was a bit hard. I love my camera!

      • Hi jaime, i just will like to ask you, did u rent the sandboard ? I’m going to Morocco next month and i want to go to Sahara and do some sandboarding there, please, let me know and any advice thanks

        Amira

        • Jaime Davila says:

Hi Amira, you can rent them when you pick the tour you are doing. Different tours offer different things. So check with them when you are there.

  2. It might be the mood of today, but looking at these pictures brought tears to my eyes! I loved the dunes one, and the sandboarding one 🙂 So spontaneous!

  3. I actually said an audible “wow” with the first photo — beautiful colors in the sky! Your face is so cute in the sand boarding one, and I can’t stop looking at the fourth photo of the beautiful sand dunes. Another fantastic week in photos, m’dear.

  8. Love the first one, very classic Egypt with the camel and pyramid. The last one I just have Star Wars in my head. Tattooine, although I think it was actually filmed in Tunisia.

    • Thanks Andrew, yes loved it too. Still wish I had got his legs, but oh well still love it. Oh & yes it looks like a scene from Star Wars. Oh & it was filmed in Tunisia!
