Photo Round Up – Week 44

5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

Hope you all enjoy them

Christmas in Athens!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ATHENS... As you know I spent it here & had a great time. I had a small dinner with the people I have been sharing the apartment with and then I called it a night early. The next day on Christmas day me & my friend Adriana went out to one of the squares to take photos. Here we are together... & then later that night we ended up getting drunk with left over beer & wine... yeah it was fun!!! Hope y'all had a great Christmas too!

Church of Athens!

One of the many Churches in Athens... I love the architecture. Even though I didn't go to Santorini this reminds me a lil bit of it. I also love the crosses and the color of the dark blue sky!

Sonke Street Art, Athens!

As you know I love love LOVE street art. I have over 80 photos of amazing street art here in Athens that I will post at some point. Well this one is one of my favs. This is a sad girl and is made by Sonke. As you explore Athens you will see her all over the place in different set ups. I loved it so much. I then did some research and found out that Sonke is actually an amazing artist and even has a Facebook fanpage and all. You should check it out!

Me & Athens!

Me atop of Lycabettus Hill in Athens. It was quite the hike but so worth it... the view of the city was amazing. Athens is HUGE!

Acropolis from above!

This is the view of the Acropolis from Lycabettus Hill in Athens. It's so strange to see this huge platform rock formation just sticking out in the middle of the city. I can't believe that 1000s of years ago ATHENA rulled the city from there. It's crazy when you visit cities with so much history... I always think "Wow I am walking where people were walking 1000s of years ago"... ja such a crazy feeling.

As I finish this I am sitting at the airport in Athens and am about to depart to Istanbul, Turkey!!! I am so glad I took a month out and did pretty much nothing. I’m sorry my photos weren’t the greatest while I was here. Now that I am back on the road again and will be visiting some amazing countries in the next few months I will try my hardest to bring you some amazing photos! Hope all of you have a safe New Years!!! Remember don’t drink & drive… it’s not worth it. Talk to y’all in 2012!!!
