Photo Round Up – Week 49

5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

Hope you all enjoy them.

Friday Prayer in Tahrir, Square!

Tahrir Square on Friday January 3, 2012. I will only say this because I have a post with 26 photos of this day coming on Tuesday. I am lucky I was able to whiteness one of the most amazing things in the world.

Friday Prayer in Tahrir, Square!

This has easily become one of my favorite photos of the entire trip. This image to me is so powerful... I have starred at it in awe & wondering "what is he thinking?" "why is he standing up?" "is he Christian or Muslim?" and so on... it was also taken on Friday January 3, 2012 @ Tahrir Square.

Children of Elephantine Island, Egypt!

Meet to of the many children on Elephantine Island, Egypt. This is Island is one of the most beautiful Island I have ever been on and well you know it have a post coming soon about it too, so won't say much about it either. As for these children they loved when we walked around and wanted us to take photos of them and then show them. They would get so excited and giggle. Love the smiles... BEAUTIFUL!

Temple of Philae, Egypt!

Pilars at the Temple of Philae - I know it just pilars, but I love this shot for the colors and the detail that can be found on the walls and the pilars them self. Oh & of course the lady in the middle looking through a door.

Agazi of Elephantine Island, Egypt!

Meet my new friend Loon, he is about to be 60 years old and has lived on Elephantine his whole life. He speaks fluent English thanks to the tourist who have visiting Aswan and the Island during his lifetime. We spent hours just chatting away... and had some amazing experiences with him. Of course I will be writing about that too later so won't say much.

Sorry on most photos I am not giving full details… it’s just Egypt is fucking amazing with so much to share and don’t want to spoil it before the post come out. I hope you understand and I hope you come back for the post. I think you will love all of them that I have planned.

  10. Jaime – I love the 3rd picture, the one with the kids! I got watery eyes. Every time I see the pictures of the kids RTW I am thankful for everything our parents did for us. I am also grateful that I am able to provide for my children. It seemed like they were enjoying you taking pictures.

    • Cecy, I know exactly what you mean. When I meet children around the world I think the same thing. It’s sad to see the conditions some of the children I have met. I wish I could give them everything, but sadly I can’t. The most I can do is make them laugh enjoy life a bit and see my camera. They love it when you take photos of them and then they see it on the screen, they stay there like wow.

  11. Do you even realize just how good your photography gets every day? I swear each post has better pictures than the one before it. Amazing. That second picture….wow.
