5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

If any photo sums up Essaouira it is this photo. It's a town with a million small blue boats that is set by the ocean. At any given time you can go to the harbor and see boats coming in and out you can also see people cleaning fish and fixing nets. It's a peaceful little town, like this photo so calm!
At any time of the day you will find men cleaning fish and then turning around and selling them to people walking by. I wanted to squat and get a shot of them at their level, but I couldn't with out them noticing and saying something to me.
One of my favorite things to do in Essaouira is to watch the sunset. I watched it many times & every time it is so different. I can never get enough of watching the sunset. I can watch it every day of my life and not get tired of them. I love just watching it set & letting my thoughts run around my head.
In any given Moroccan city you will see kids being kids. In Essaouira it was no different. Kids everywhere playing soccer, playing around with play guns and occasionally you could watch kids get into a small brawls. I was standing on the other side watching these kids run up a slanted door with my camera ready when all of a sudden someone said something and these 2 started to fight. I love that I was able to capture this moment. This photo does say a million words.
I love how Moroccans organize their stores to sell things. One of my favorite is how the people who sell shoes hang all the shoes up and have them at the entrance of the store. When I see this picture it makes me smile and giggle. I think its brilliant and I also love all the color they use and all the different styles they sell.

Jaime…I’m loving the pictures!!! My favorite is the shoes. It’s rare to find so much color like that In the states. The fighting pic was pretty spiffy as well. Keep up the storytelling with your photos. It’s amazing!!
