Photo Round Up – Week 33

5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

Hope you all enjoy them.

I had already been to Marrakech and wasn't planning on going back until I changed my plans to fly out form there. When I got back to Marrakech it was crazy as usual in the main square however this time every where I turned people were selling MOROCCO flags, hats, shirts, whistles, shoes & anything you can imagine. I put up my stuff in the hostel and wondered around a bit, I kept seeing people getting there face painted. I then came acorss this kid and omg was in love. He's just to cute and I asked if I can take a picture and they said yes. I now love this photo and even more because the guy on the right is just starring at the camera. It was cool to watch the kid get his face painted while wearing a flag!

So when I saw everyone gear up in red I figured a game had to be around the corner and well I was right. Later that night we went to the square for dinner and it was weird. For the 1st time it was not jam crowded like every other night. I thought okay every one must be home watching the game. Oh & was I right... later that night the game ended 3-1 Morocco beat Tanzania. That's when the CHAOS started. Everyone came out to the main square. It was amazing. It was that moment that made me love Morocco for sure. It made me realize it's not the country it's me that had problems. The entire crazy hectic month just completely made sense. I love this photo because it shows just a portion of the celebration going on after the win!

Wondering around Seville, Spain I kept seeing so many people just making out every where. It kinda reminded me of Oaxaca, Mexico because I saw that a lot there too. I was wondering around when I saw this couple in the middle of the Plaza just making out FOR A LONG TIME. I managed to be the freaky guy taking pictures. I ove this shot a lotbecause of the way the arms are crossed and the shade and lighting in the park. It also made me think just 24 hours earlier I was in Morocco a country where not once did I see any public display of affection and now seeing this... just crazy how it's so close yet so far away different cultures are.

Confession I have fallin in love with FLAMENCO... I seriously think it one of the most beautiful forms of dance in the world. I danced for 13 years so know a bit about dance, but damn FLAMENCO is just a whole different world. This is the 2nd show I have seen here in Spain. I choose this photo because I think it captures the moment perfectly. It captures the look, the dress and the shoes! As y'all know I hate editing the photos but for this one I think turning it into black & white with a black outline gives it a much better look and makes it a bit more intimate and focuses on the dancer!

5 years and 90 million euros later the worlds largest wooden structure was open to the public. Named Las Setas nicknamed The Mushroom this huge structure looks like a waffle in the air. For a 1.20euro you are able to go to the top so I did. The views are stunning and this structure is just amazing. I took so many photos, but thought I would share a photo of the whole structure. To be honest I thought it was metal until I did research and found out it is made all out of wood.

  7. I love Flamenco too. When I was in Sevilla and saw a Flamenco show, I teared up b/c of it. It’s beautiful, and even though at that time I had already been in Spain for over a month (it was my study abroad trip) that Flamenco show was when it really hit me that I was in Spain. I’ll never forget that. I’m soooo glad you got to see it!
