Photo Round Up – Week 36

5 photo round up of what I saw/did this week.

Hope you all enjoy them.

Wondering around Barcelona I stumbled upon this big cat. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to be a sculpture from Colombian artist Fernando Botero and sure enough it was. I have seen many of his sculptures in photos and am able to recognize one when I see one. I couldn't get enough of this cat... just look at it. It's the cutest thing ever. I so wanted to climb it, but well didn't...lol!!!

"The Palau Nacional, the emblematic building of the 1929 International Exhibition, is the home of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. It is situated on the mountain of Montjuïc, a privileged site from where you can enjoy a magnificent and unique view of the city of Barcelona." - www.MNAC.es I love this night shot I was able to get of the building. I love how the lights are coming out of the building and perfectly even with the pillars.

Ahh I love this photo, because it shows how awesome people in the world are. A month earlier I had met the four of them on a balcony at our hostel in Fez. We just starting talking and we bonded and well if you have read my blog know I ended up traveling with the them for a week and had some of the most amazing moments of my life. They took me out to dinner at a very nice local restaurant in Barcelona. This is the night I ate RABBIT for the 1st time.

La Sagrada Familia something you hear about for what seems your entire life... and when you get there you hope it lives up to the hype. Well I am not going to lie this is one of the few iconic tourist attractions that lives up to the hype and much more. I wish I could describe what it is like to actually see it in real life. I mean seriously it's breathtaking. You look at all the detail and think wow this can't get any better than this and then you... (continued on photo below)

enter and you see the ceiling and your moth drops. Look at this tell me you are not amazed. I mean every thing Gaudi did was planned out to perfection in a geometric design that involved nature in every piece of his work. I would seriously like to go into Gaudi's mind and see what he was thinking when he designed any of his designs. They are breathtaking and just amazing. I will be writing about them soon... I have so many thoughts.

When I saw your photo of you and your four friends, I was immediately struck by how AWESOME it is: to be on the trip of your life, and meet other people who share that love of travel and living life. To become friends with them and spend time together enjoying yourselves, that’s a big part of what makes traveling the best. 😀
