Photo Round Up – Week 68 & 69

10 photo round up of what I saw/did these last 2 weeks.

Hope you all enjoy them.

WEEK 68

I feel horrible… and embarrassed that for the 1st time since I left home I do not have 5 photos to show for a week on the road. Even while I was in Athens doing nothing I managed to go out and do something to get a few good shots. Week 68 will go down in history as the laziest week of my life (I lie I have had lazier)… I mean I literally did nothing. Okay I went to the GIZA ZOO, but that was so depressing as I shared on my FACEBOOK that I don’t wanna share any of those photos. I did also have a lot of tea at one of our favorite cafes, but that’s it. So I decided to let you know that I did nothing & apologize for it…lol!!! I know y’all understand & that’s why I love y’all.

WEEK 69

Streets of Cairo.

I’ve been lucky to meet several bloggers while I am in Cairo. Looks like many of pass through here at some point and time during our travels around the world. I met Leif from The Runaway Guide (he’s on the left) and his friend Sage. We met up in Tahrir Sq. had lunch and then had some tea and then some cheap rum. It turned out to be a fun day. As we were walking around Cairo a group of girls wanted photos with us and well of course we said why not. This is one of the shots we got. I love it… it just reminds me of how amazing Egyptians are.

Cairo from above.

This is a shot of Downtown Cairo from the hostel Leif was staying at. Ahh I love Cairo & that it’s a natural SEPIA no matter where you look.

Egypt's presidential elections!

I wrote all about it already so I won’t say much. I will say that I still can’t believe I was able to witness this. The 1st free presidential elections of Egypt. This is an image I have only been able to see on TV when other countries get the opportunity to vote. To actually be there though and see this was something else.

Egyptian Voting

Again I wrote all about it. This is my boyfriends hand after he voted. Wish I could show his face, but won’t because he doesn’t like it.

Cairo Metro System

I love this shot, because it was taken at a metro station I use just about every day (when I go out). I love that it’s just perfect. Every seat is taken and the men are just there all doing their own thing. It’s a candid shot that I like because of the color as well.
