Music Monday – Happy

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Because today out of no where I just started saying out loud “I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY”. I feel like for the 1st time in my life I am 100% HAPPY. I am happy about everything & am living with no regrets. For the longest time I was not happy with a few things in my life. I would listen to this song and the lyrics were EXACTLY what I was feeling and thinking. “I could stand by the side and watch this life pass me by So unhappy, but safe as could be.” and  would think about my dream and then think “So what if it hurts me? So what if I break down? So what if this world just throws me off the edge. My feet run out of ground? I gotta find my place, I wanna hear my sound. Don’t care about all the pain in front of me. ‘Cause I’m just trying to be happy, oh, happy, oh”. I mean really this is how a lot of people feel about life we all just want to be “HAPPY”, but most of the time are filled with fear about the choices we need to make that we let that dictate our lives.
