Music Monday – Live Your Life

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – I had written this song down to use a while back when one of the people I follow on twitter tweeted he was listening to it. I had forgot all about this song. It’s a very main stream song that I hope people really understood what it’s about. When you watch this video you hear T.I. actually says something that is not in the song but about how he feels about life. I will quote him “Life is an interesting journey you never know where it will take you. Peaks & valleys twist and turns… you can get the surprise of your life. Sometimes on the way to where you are going you might think this is the worse time of my life, but you know what at the end of the road through all the adversity you can get what you wanted to be… you remember what doesn’t kill you just makes you stronger … ” What he says is 100% true that’s how life goes… why not make the most of it? So live your life because there is no knowing where it will tak you or when the clock will stop… Give it a listen and you will hear the amazing message!
