Music Monday – See You When I See You

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Y’all know I’m a huge country fan and love when I hear new music. I hadn’t listened to much of Jason Aldean’s music except for his radio hits and of course his duet. His duet with my girl Kelly Clarkson Don’t You Wanna Stay (check it out such a great song too). Well the other night I was chatting away with one my best friends Wev & she told me she was dedicating a song to me. She sent me the link I of course always listen to the lyrics & when I heard this song & the lyrics I cried. I had not been having such good times in Morocco and was missing home A LOT. So much was going on at home with family & friends birthdays and I wanted to be home. When I heard this song I couldn’t help, but cry. I had never heard this song before and now love it to death. To know that one of my friends feels this way about me just makes me so happy. Wev I know I’ll see you when I see you, but I hope it’s soon and on the road. I guess I didn’t say goodbye to any of my friends & family at home… I guess it is more like this song I’ll see them when I see them. After I do hate goodbyes…
