Music Monday – Crazy Dreams

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – You see I hate to love Carrie, because well everyone always compares my girl Kelly Clarkson with her… in everything. Even though they are two whole different genres and ahh I could go on, but will stop. So I was listening to one of her albums (Carries) and this song came on and it got me seriously thinking “THANK GOD EVEN CRAZY DREAMS COME TRUE”. I mean really… I let my dreams consume me  and made them a reality. It was one crazy dream I had I mean really to travel the world for a year or two… is pretty crazy, but I made it happen and am loving it. Then of course like I do just about every song listened to the lyrics and thought oh man this is about everyone… we all have crazy dreams. Listen to the song read the lyrics and you will see we can all relate to this song… aren’t we all “long shots, dark horse runners, a wild magnolia waiting to bloom”? So don’t let your dream slip away make it happen. Make it a priority and make a list of things you must do to make it happen and go for it.
