Music Monday – Tomorrow

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – I am currently on the beautiful island of IBIZA… yes the famous PARTY ISLAND. Well the sad thing is I picked this song because I can’t stop thinking about this song. It doesn’t stop raining. I have been here now 4 days and it has rained every single day. I have had maybe 5 hours of sunshine in the time I have been here. I keep telling my self “the sun will come out tomorrow” and well it got me thinking about Annie and how optimistic she is when she is “stuck in a day that is gray and lonely”. I guess I should just take this time to enjoy some me time, work on my blog and enjoy some relaxing time of doing nothing. Well I want to do that, but I know I am on this beautiful island and I want to explore it damn it… ahh well I will stay optimistic like lil Annie, because I know things could be worse and well they aren’t. So I will cheer up and make the most of the down time I have. Now I wanna watch Annie, I haven’t seen it in years! Y’all have seen Annie right?
