Music Monday – Seasons of Love

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Because the year is over in a few days… I mean really read the lyrics… How do we measure a year? I don’t even know how to begin to explain what 2011 means to me. It will go down as the best year of my life to date. 2011 is the year I took control of my life for the 1st time since 1986. This year has been amazing and full of new encounters and a testing of all my limits. This year I learned that I could do anything I set my mind out to do. This year I learned more about my self and the world we live in than ever before. I would measure this year in laughs and smiles and by the amazing people I met around the world.
