Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – I’m not a huge fan of Bruno Mars and I hate this song (I love It Will Rain though), but ugh it’s how I have been feeling during my stay in Athens. It’s horrible I literally just been doing a whole bunch of nothing and loving it! So aside from having sex with a girl… this is song wraps up what I have been doing in Athens. Yeah so glad we agree on this… it’s such a stupid song and those monkeys are so fucking annoying. I don’t get it at all… but ugh the lyrics are how I am feeling right now. I’ve been so lazy and haven’t wanted to do anything.

Oh & no trust me I am not depressed just enjoying the down time… like A LOT!!! Come new year it will be back to normal with a lot to do and see… can’t wait!

Good on you for having some scheduled down time… we definitely made the mistake of not allowing enough of it and ended up sacrificing sightseeing time just so we could relax every now and again.

Yeah I so needed it… I was just burnt out and tired of it all…lol!!! It will all be worth it as I get back on the road at the end of next week!!! You have to plan some down time… it helps so much even if it is a WHOLE month of doing nothing!
