Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

I think in a way it’s crazy to be so optimistic about the world we live in, but one can hope and one can dream. These words are the words I wish people would actually take a moment and understand and listen too. The more I travel the more I realize we are all the same… and this says it all. The reason I picked this song today is because I just saw this video about the GAY RIGHTS MOVEMENT and it brought me down to tears. You all know I just wish people would understand we just want to be happy. The other reason I picked this song is because I am now in Egypt. Today a local man showed me around the city and taught me so many things about Egypt I didn’t know and about the revolution and it too made me want to cry. These people are fighting for rights so many of us have already in the western world… they are fighting to be happy and for change. Change that will give them hope in the futures they have in their own country. If you look at the calendar it’s the 23rd… only 2 days before the 1st year anniversary that that revolution started in Egypt. I think this would be a perfect song for them and I continue to wish them the best as they too fight for RIGHTS they should have.
