Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Have you ever bought a CD for just a song or two and for the longest time only listen to those few songs. Then months or years later actually listen to the whole album and find out how amazing it really is? Well I just did that this week with SNOW PATROLS – EYES OPEN album. I have been playing it over and over for a few days and then the last 3 days have had this song on repeat… I have now heard it over 100 times. I know crazy, but I can’t get enough of it. I mean seriously… listen to it’s so fucking brilliant. The lyrics the voice… so eery and creepy! As for the lyrics I don’t know, but they have struck a cord with me. I listen to them and I think of my past life… and sometimes I think of the guy I met in Cairo. I don’t know it just makes me think about my whole life in general and how its everywhere. I feel at home on the road, but then feel like my home is at home. I don’t know but I will listen to this song about 100 more times before I get tired of it. What do you think of the song?
