Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Sorry I didn’t post a Music Monday the last two weeks. Was in a small town with very slow internet so didn’t even attempt to do it. I wonder if anyone even noticed? Oh well so here it is. I know she did not originally sing this song & well y’all know I hate to love Carrie, because well I love my girl Kelly more. Well any who I am picking this song because I just finished volunteering for 2 weeks in India and for some reason when I think of volunteering I think of this song. I love the message it sends to the world and gives everyone hope. I have never volunteered like this before and I am excited I did. I can’t wait to write all about it & will soon. I want the children of Setrawa know that I will stand by them!!!
At first, when I saw the title of the song, I thought of Ben E. King’s “Stand by me” 🙂 However, I havent heard of Carrie Underwood before. Quite good! Gotta hear more of that artist.
