Music Monday – Lose Yourself

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – I had forgotten all about this song until my girl Kelly Clarkson covered it recently at her concert in Detroit. So she covers a song at EVERY concert she performs that is selected by a fan. I know amazing right? What other star would ever do this… NONE. Anyway it helps that she can sing the shit out of any song ever created… and well for this one she had some fun. She put on a hoody and rapped and enjoyed the moment. Anyway so I picked it because it’s about make the most out of life and well that is what I like to help people achieve. I’m not a huge fan of Eminem but I do like a few of his songs and this one has always been one of them. I mean he puts it down so true:
