Music Monday - Like It or Not

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Ahhh Madonna the one & only QUEEN of POP. Love her or hate her you must admit she’s a legend… and has accomplished more than many artist will ever accomplish in their lives. She’s great at being controversial, but has always been herself & is why I’ve always admired her. I love so many of her songs, but this one has always been one of my favorite. I just love it, cus it’s basically a FUCK YOU to anyone who has ever questioned or hated who she is. I’m picking this song because recently I’ve been getting shit from family, friends & strangers for who I am or what I say. The truth is I’ve always had a big mouth… and have always said what I thought. I have also hidden who I was long enough that now I can care less what anyone thinks. I will continue to be me… say what I’m thinking and be who I am.
