Music Monday – Chivas

Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – This has nothing to do with travel, being inspirational or umm being happy. Okay well maybe it does have a lot to do with happiness after a break up. I picked this song because I think I am on 6 hours of sleep for the last 3 days and right now I am buzzing soooo hard and was not sure what song to pick. I was in the hostel drinking and people were hating on my KELLY CLARKSON so I thought I’m picking a Kelly song just because. I thought this would be perfect since I have been drinking chivas a lot lately… If you watched the video which took place in HOUSTON baby (I was there for that concert & remember this perfectly) you will see that she wrote this song while being drunk at a bar on a napkin. I think that is awesome because hello a lot of feel this way after we brake up with someone… I know I did at some point. This song is funny and cute and one of my favorite.
