Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. WHY I PICKED IT – I picked this song because I am coming up on my 6 month anniversary of traveling and thought I should share yet another song that has been following me everywhere I go. Even though I still hear Papa Americano everywhere I go this song tops it. It’s a very simple and fun song and if you have been anywhere I am sure you have heard it. The singer is just saying “With your hands in the air and your free waist do a half turn … move your head” I wish I can do a better job translating but can’t. Give it a listen I am sure you will recognize it. I love this song because in Central America and Mexico I heard it everywhere and thought once I came to Europe I would not hear it anymore since I wasn’t going to be in Spanish speaking countries(aside Spain), but nope I hear it at the markets, in the streets, at the stores and at the clubs. So go head listen to it and jam away… it just puts a huge smile on your face!!!
