Going to Prague was in my original plans but then a few days into my Europe leg I cut it off along with a huge chunk of my plans. My original plan was way to ambitious and just unrealistic. I was okay with the decision, however during my stay in Hamburg, Caroline and Chris had mentioned that instead of just going from Berlin to Munich I should make a visit to Prague. I looked at the map and thought well why not. So in the end I made the decision to go to Prague and had 2 nights there, but one full day (24hrs) in the city.
So what was my mission? Ever since I wrote a post about peeing statues in Brussels now everyone assumes I love peeing statues. The truth is I just find them hilarious and was told by Corey and Ali that Prague had one that will blow my mind away. Instead of looking up and finding out where it was I thought it would be cool to go about my day sight seeing and hopefully run into it and if not then I must find it on my own, by asking people.
Woke up bright and early and started my fun filled sightseeing day with a mission to find the peeing statues. Here is what I saw during my 24 hours in Prague.
I spent over 8 hours wondering around the city of Prague and loved it. It is a very pretty city. I went back to the hostel and was ready for a nap before coming back out at night to get some night shots. I did the usual of posting my TOE TOUCH photo on Facebook (if I take one) and got a comment from one of my readers who was in Prague. We made plans to meet up later that night for dinner and some drinks. I was so excited I was meeting yet another one of my readers. I met up with Katy and we had a nice dinner a few drinks and chatted about life.
In the end my full 24 hours in Prague were awesome. I was not a bad boy like I was in Berlin. I normally don’t try and visit a city for such a short amount of time, but I am glad I did. I enjoyed seeing some of the sights I had always wanted to see for my self and am glad I was able to meet another one of my readers. Now to the good stuff… before I let y’all go I will leave y’all with VIDEO of the PEEING STRUCTURE. Ummm of course I got it on video… it was so animated I had too. Brussels needs to get on it and make an animated peeing structure too because for now Prague holds the peeing crown.
OH & YEAH TODAY I HAVE NOW BEEN TRAVELING FOR 6 MONTHS… I know crazy can’t believe it, but am living it and loving it!!!
Hahaha that structure is funny and I’m loving your photos, particularly the one of the castle. I’ve only been to Prague once years ago and it was two days after Christmas so it was absolutely freezing! I would definitely like to return in the summer when the weather is nicer, it looks so much prettier. Also, I can’t believe you’ve been travelling 6 months now. It has flown by, but there is still so much more to come 🙂

Thanks Julia, yeah they are funny… can’t believe they are so animated. Oh yeah I would hey to travel anywhere during the winter… even though I am sure Prague would look even more pretty covered in snow.
Yeah time has flown by… I myself can’t believe it’s been 6 months.
Wow! I wonder if the citizens of Prague laugh at tourists like you who just stand there recording the peeing statues or taking pictures of them. I imagine it to be like the strange faces I received while pushing the “trolly cart” into Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross station in London!

Jaja yes I am sure they do laugh at us Allison like we are idiots, but oh well we must get photos of it…lol!!! Oh & I love that you did that because I would probably do the same thing.
Dude, your photography has improved a lot since the start of your trip! Great shots in there. And just for the record… how could one not find peeing statues funny?
