Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Yes another country song. I am sorry, but sometimes they are the ones that have the best message. Even though I think this song is a bit cheesy and can’t believe this was Shania Twain’s “COME BACK” single after being away for what seems a century. I like this song because it has a direct message about life. Read the lyrics, listen to the song and you will know what I am talking about. Make today YOUR DAY… make goals, plans to reach what it is you want to do in life. Whatever it is take a step in making it a reality. Sometimes it’s hard, but every big decision starts off with one step. So take it because TODAY IS YOUR DAY.
Shania is great. Country songs do have the best life lessons! My recent favorite along those lines is “This” by Darius Rucker.
