Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – Yup Music Monday is back… I know you missed it too… I mean come on I share so many amazing songs. Okay not really ja… I know it’s my least viewed posts and I am okay with that. I love Music and will continue to share music with y’all!!! So why did I pick this song… I’m sure if you have heard this song you know it’s a song about love… but give it a second listen and read the lyrics. It is about LOVE, but it doesn’t have to be LOVE with another. It can be about finding something you finally LOVE and enjoy and giving you the feeling that it’s the First Day Of YOUR Life. For me it’s TRAVEL… when I am on the road it makes me feel like it’s the 1st day of my life everyday. I love the verse “I think I was blind before I met you” – that is how I feel about this whole experience. I am learning so much about my self and the world we live in. I also like “Remember the time you drove all night Just to meet me in the morning” because I have done that so many times on my travels to meet something amazing… like a sunrise or a dessert or a beach. With the New Year just behind us I hope each of you made a simple resolution to do whatever it is that is going to make you live a happy life!!!
As you are reading this I am making my way to Cairo, Egypt and when I land it’s going to be the 1st day of my life again… I will be visiting the #1 country I want to visit in the world. I’m so excited to explore Egypt for a month… ahh it’s going to be amazing!!!

Agree I just love this song… it’s so good and yes the video is original. Oh & yes… when I hear this I of course think of a man…lol, but for now my love is TRAVEL… so I think of that.
