Anyone who meets me knows I love music. I love all types… ummm okay I love most types of music. For me its about the lyrics and what it is the artist is talking about or what message they are trying to convey. I love to dissect a song and its lyrics completely. Every Monday I want to post a song that either inspires me, makes me think about the world we live in, motivates me to always be who I am or may be something I was feeling at some point. It will be a great mix of different types of music and hope it will also do the same for you. I love to think that music captures what so many of us may be feeling or want to say, but don’t know how.

WHY I PICKED IT – This song sums up how I am feeling right now… so well it’s crazy. It says everything I am feeling and honestly don’t even need to say anything else. You all know I left Egypt over a week ago & it’s been tough. I always turn to music to help with my problems… it’s like free therapy just to know someone else is feeling what you are feeling. The last few days I’ve had about 8 songs on repeat that make me wanna cry every time (this is one of them) I hear them, but I can’t stop listening to them. Please read the lyrics, hear the song… I don’t want pity I’m just sharing how I am feeling at the moment.
I forgot how much pain a heart can feel when it’s hurt. It’s even harder when it’s you that made the choice that is causing the hurt. Soon I’ll write about it, but for now you will see some more personal/sad songs here on Music Monday that express what I am feeling.

Use the “free therapy” as much as you need. Sometimes it helps.
People think we are masochistic since we kept listening to the music that remind us of painful moments. I disagree! I dont know you, but sometimes i need to feel the pain, to cry my eyes and my heart out to feel better… Hugs!!xx

It’s such a painful song… so damn painful, but it really describes everything I am feeling so perfect. Oh girl I do the same I like to indulge in my depression and sadness and listen to the most depressing and saddest songs ever. I can’t help it… to me it’s “FREE THERAPY” just to know someone else at some point has felt like I have to have written a song about it. Hugs back.

This song Exactly like a relationship I had. ‘did I disappoint you or let you down… Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown, I saw the end before we’d begun… Yes I knew u were the blinded etc. I met a guy who unbeknown to me was living a double life. He knew we were never gonna work from the start and knew I was blind not knowing whT was going on. But he fell for me, z I was his bestfriend and soul mate etc. As he was living a Double life everyone found out… Hence let the judges frown. When I found out it was awful he was a mess i was absolutely devstated. we said our goodbyes and he told me he loved me and one day he would find me and have children with me one day. The part that says ‘one day be kneeling and father of child’ really used to get to me in the song. Incidentally he did find me after everything we r happy and been together five years now.
HOLY SHIT WOW… that is a crazy story, but I love the ending.
