I’m taking a break from blogging.

Yup you read right… I’m taking a break from blogging. Before any of you go crazy, mad, angry and scream from the withdrawals you will be feeling let me tell you why! Exactly two weeks from today I will be leaving Egypt… I will be leaving my favorite country in the world… I will be leaving the country I have called home for over 3 months. It also means I will be leaving my boyfriend of 7 months behind. Ahhh just writing that makes me wanna cry. I’m holding the tears back… & am not gonna cry. I have cried enough and made the tough decision a while ago of making this a love story with an expiration date. It was hard and well okay no this is not about that and if you wanna read about that just click that link… so anyway.

My boyfriend managed to get the last two weeks I will be in Egypt off and well I wanna spend them with him not worrying about my blog or anything that has to do with blogging. So yup I am taking a break from blogging because well unless you are a blogger you may not realize how TIME CONSUMING running a blog is. The next 2 weeks will be jam packed with a week of relaxing in in beautiful Dahab and final chaotic week visiting some of the few things I have yet to see in Cairo and around it.

Dahab, Egypt

I wanna go back to the clear waters of Dahab and spend a week there relaxing away from the chaos that is Cairo. I am also excited to go back because he has never gone and last time I was there I did nothing and well this time around I wanna do the things I didn’t do… with him!

Red Pyramid, Egypt

I have already visited the Great Pyramids of Giza and the other pyramids, but their is even more pyramids aside from these that I would like to visit with him since neither of us has seen them. Along with this their is a few other things around Cairo I would like to see…. like the Black & White Desert and many more!

Cairo, Egypt

Along with the week in Dahab and visiting more pyramids and other things around Cairo I still have quite a few things I’d like to visit in Cairo. So we’ll be doing that as well.

Ahhh just thinking about the next two weeks makes me so excited, but at the same time very sad. The feelings I have been feeling are so bitter sweet and well like I have said before we are just going to make the most of the time we have left together here and go out with a bang. Sine I will be away for a few weeks I just want to remind you that I have over two years worth of post you can go through if you find yourself dealing with withdrawals (I know I assume highly of all of you):

If you want ADVENTURE I have ADVENTURE.

If you want THOUGHTS I have THOUGHTS.

If you want MILESTONES I have MILESTONES.

If you want TIPS I have TIPS.

If you want FOOD I have FOOD.

If you want XXX I have XXX.

If you want BUDGET I have BUDGET.

If you want MUSIC I have MUSIC.

If you want PHOTOS I have PHOTOS.

Yup I have just about everything and if I am missing anything let me know what you would like and I will try and make it happen!!! I plan on spending as much time offline during the next two weeks for sure, but may upload photos of what we are doing on Facebook. So yeah if you aren’t following me there be sure to do so. Well that is pretty much it… next time you hear from me on my blog I will be in Istanbul, Turkey (my favorite city in the world) or FINALLY in SEAsia. When I come back I will continue right where I left off and write about my experience participating in Ramadan and everything else I did between then and the present day.

Please don’t forget about me… I promise I will be back and well as if I haven’t said it enough thanks again for reading my blog and following my crazy adventure around the world. I honestly love each and everyone of you. Oh & if you need anything… just contact me and I will get back to you when I can.

Speak soon!!!

  7. Jaime! Enjoy the break – take allllll the time you need. Real time is more important than telling us about it.

Also, cry. Be Emotional. Express everything you are feeling. Don’t feel you need to be reserved or have to hold back in any way. The things you are feeling are natural and normal. Your bf and Egypt obviously mean so much to you so don’t hesitate to show them that because that is more important then anything.

And if you’re needing a pick me up…come spend a few days in eastern Europe with me!

Oh Brock… I’ve been a mess the last few days… I can’t help it. I get so damn emotional. I’m enjoying my break for sure and know it will be a few more weeks before I come back. I just need to be away for a bit… from worrying about the blog. Real life is more important. As for meeting up with you in Eastern Europe… I’d take you up on that if I didn’t already book my ticket to SEA.
